After 2 decades as a volunteer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, including being the President of a service league, Sharon Chaimson moved to Tucson and became a Realtor.  She brought to her new profession all the dedication, professionalism, zeal, enthusiasm and organizational skills she had mastered in her previous career.

Since her arrival in 1984 she has been affiliated with the number"1"Real Estate Company in southern Arizona, Long Realty Company.  She has been among its' top agents and in 1993 was named 1 of 9 Vice-Presidents.  She also became a charter member of Long's Executive Council, a Senior Associate, and member of the Chairman's Club, Director's Circle and 1926 Circle Club.

To achieve excellence in her new profession, in the mid 1980's she got her GRI designation.  In the early 1990's she achieved her CRS designation.  With the trend to truly represent the interests of the Buyer in a Real Estate transaction, in 1998  she received her ABR designation.  Because Seniors represent the largest growing number of home buyers and sellers and need special consideration, in 2001 she got her SRES designation.
